Being an athlete can be a pretty time-consuming and exhausting job (which at least rewards you with huge earnings), but many of these sports stars have managed to make a family of their own. Have you ever wondered what their kids are up to though? Surprisingly, not all of them opt to pursue the same career as their star fathers did, and some of them decided to pave their own way to success, filling their bank account through their own means. While Marcus did play for the UCF Knights college team, in 2016, he decided to establish his own business – a shoe store in Disneyland called Trophy Room. His father has totally supported his decision, without pressuring him to follow in his footsteps. Worldwide soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo’s first son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., was born in 2010. Though his mother’s identity has never been revealed, she might have received a cartload of money from the Portuguese soccer player, but at least there was no need for a divorce settlement as Cristiano never married her. Ronaldo decided to finance a business – and so he expanded his business finance to create his own fashion line. And who better to use as a model than his son, Ronaldo Jr., who posed as a model in his father’s 2017 campaign. Should we expect a new soccer star or a catwalk celebrity? Only time will tell.

Lionel Messi probably doesn’t need an introduction considering he is one of the best footballers the world has ever seen. Kai Wayne was their first baby to arrive in 2009 and is training with Manchester City to be a goalkeeper. It’s best to start them young!
