There are plenty of people who find giving birth to a child with ‘special needs’ too heavy a burden to bear. That was the case of Hannah’s mother, who put her up for adoption the moment she learned that her daughter suffered from a very rare condition called Primordial Dwarfism. It meant that she would never grow as much as other people do and that her height and weight would be far smaller than the average numbers. Combined with a special treatment program that Hannah would require, most people thought that adopting her would be a huge risk. As months went by, she was starting to lose hope, until something pleasant and unexpected happened.
